Hydrogen Fundamentals

Description

This micro-credential delivers fundamental knowledge of hydrogen and the Australian hydrogen energy sector. The course has been designed by industry to provide individuals and businesses with an understanding of the opportunities and challenges with hydrogen, safety aspects of hydrogen and the job opportunities in this growing sector.

COURSE CONTENT
Developed in collaboration with Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) the course includes videos and virtual tour of Hydrogen Park South Australia (HyP SA) where you will see the process of delivering renewable hydrogen gas to nearby homes via the existing gas network.

The following topics will be covered:
1. Hydrogen and its uses
2. Hydrogen’s advantages and challenges
3. Handling hydrogen
4. Hydrogen projects and job opportunities

As you progress through the topics, you will gain and enhance your knowledge of hydrogen.

COURSE OUTCOMES
Upon completion of this micro-credential you will be able to:
- Understand the basics of hydrogen
- Know the fundamentals of safe handling of hydrogen
- Consider how you or your business could participate in the hydrogen sector
